Here We Are

We’re staying in Mele which faces Port Vila and is on the water.
After landing we spent the afternoon exploring the property we’re staying on and figuring out the exchange rate.

We ended up having pizzas from the restaurant where we’re staying and later found out they were $18 each… Not a cheap dinner for 6.

Mum and I have discovered that women don’t have that much authority here. Mum was told quite a few times to run everything by her husband and was seated at the very back of the car, behind us kids. Definitely not how our household operates.

Excluding the dash of inequality, it’s beautiful here.
