Day 8: Ziplining through the Forest

We ended up hiring the ute again since it’s the cheapest mode of transport for the six of us and it’s hard to get around without a car here. We drove up to the ziplining area and after convincing Dad, all of us did the canopy zipline.

It wasn’t as intense as I thought it was going to be, I imagined ziplining back down the mountain. We ziplined to and from different platforms through the treetops. The instructors that came up with us were so much fun and showed us how to zipline upside down!

Mum and Dad didn’t have a go at being upside down but mum atleast let go of the rope holding her. Dad’s fear of heights meant that were lucky enough that he came up with us and he wasn’t going to be anymore daring than that.

Once we had done the course, it ended in the gardens underneath which was a pretty (and uphill) walk.

It was 4000 vatu for kids 12 and under, 5000 vatu for teens and 9500 vatu for adults and so much fun!
